Germany's Carnival or Mardi Gras is Fashing. Our ski club, Ski Club Partenkirchen (SCP),puts on a Women's Ski Jumping event on Fashing's Dienstag (Tuesday). I baked 2 cakes and volunteered (not jumping). Check out the girls. The traditional Fashing's costume is the colorful layered costume with a wooden Mask called a Larve.
