Cute things kids say

This beautiful Easter morning the kids were somehow talking about things that break and trying to identify things which cannot break...marble, concrete, steel...then Andreas said, "All things can break, except for love." How sweet is that!

Isabella also had a funny one today. We've had very warm weather (for the German Alps in April), Isabella found some terrycloth shorts in her drawer and wore them as underwear under her dress. When I was ready to put her in the bathtub this evening she said, "I can leave on my washcloth shorts!" And she did.

Charlotte had a test, she's in 2nd grade. They had studied the forms of water: frozen, liquid, steam and conducted some experiments. She had 1 mistake because she answered ice rather than frozen. Another test question asked: Why does a rubber boat float and a rubber eraser sink, they're both rubber? Charlotte's answer: What would be the point of a boat if it doesn't float. The passengers would sink! She didn't get any points...but she probably wrote more than anyone!

So sweet and optimistic! Let's hope he has the same answer in 10 years! :)

By the way, Sara loves to point to Andreas in pictures. I think she tries to say his name, too. She says something that sounds likes "isssss."
